Baha Mar Mega Resort Project (Water System), Bahamas


Design and construction of capital infrastructure works including but not limited to potable water/reuse water distribution and sanitary sewer distribution to accommodate the Baha Mar Project mega resort. The capital works consisted of 16, 20 & 24 inch potable and reuse water main distribution, sanitary sewer (gravity and force mains) and liftstations to accommodate the mega resort and communities in the surrounding area. The works also included shop drawing review and approvals, engineering inspection, concrete and earthwork testing and drainage facilities. Additional capital works encompassed earthworks, drainage system, street lighting, electrical low/high voltage and telecommunications utilities, sidewalks, landscaping, roadway geometrics, detailed specifications and seven roundabout intersection design and road safety audit.

Engineer of Record responsible for oversight of the potable water engineering design, specifications and calculation report, sign and seal construction issue documents. Responsibilities also included but was not limited to shop drawings review and acceptance, site monitoring and observations and as-built review and acceptance. Responsible for the verification and sign-off of QA-QC process for project duration.
