Mr. Delancy has over 39 years of professional experience, 27 held at the managerial level, in both private and public accounting sectors. Currently Mr. Delancy is a Partner in the recently formed accounting firm of McDonald Delancy Johnson, Chartered Accountants and Consultants (“MDJ”). Prior to joining MDJ, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer/Director of an investment management company, a wholly owned subsidiary of a major Swiss bank, with assets under management in excess of $30 billion. He also held the position of Senior Manager and other positions with the Nassau, Freeport, Guam, USA and Fort Worth, Texas, USA offices of two of the Big Four international accounting firms.
He is an alumnus of Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, New Hampshire graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is a member and licensee of The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants.
He is a member of Franklin Pierce University Board of Trustees and a past member of the Rotary Club of Northern Guam.
