Ray R. McKenzie

CCG is a professional civil engineering consulting firm managed by the President and Principal Ray R. McKenzie, CPM. Mr. McKenzie was born in New Providence, Bahamas. He went on to pursue undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at North Dakota State University and graduate studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Memphis. He has a Certificate in Professional Management from The Institute of Certified Professional Managers, James Madison University, Certificate in Law from the College of the Bahamas and The Institute of Legal Executives in the United Kingdom, fellow of the American Academy of Project Management and a Certified International Project Manager.

Mr. McKenzie obtained additional training in Transportation Engineering at the Transportation Institute of Northwestern University. He has over  34 years of engineering experience and is a registered professional engineer in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, State of South Dakota, The State of Tennessee, registered in the International Registry of Professional Engineers, Barbados Association of Professional Engineers (BAPE), St. Lucia Association of Professional Engineers (APESL) and IMSA Traffic Signal Electrician Level III certified. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Fellow of the  American  Society of Civil Engineers (FASCE), Fellow of the Institution of Transportation Engineers (FITE), Fellow of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad & Tobago (FAPETT), Bahamas Society of Engineers (BSE), Bahamas Institute of Professional Engineers (BIPE), Construction institute (CI), Coast, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute (COPRI), Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Founder of Central Dacotah Section and Senior Member of American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA), and The Bahamas National Trust. Mr. McKenzie is certified as a compliance inspector of storm water and certified to prepare storm water pollution prevention plans. He also has the Green Advantage environmental certification. He has quality experience on projects in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Grenada, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Turks and Caicos Islands and the United States of America.

Mr. McKenzie served two terms on the Professional Engineers Board in The Bahamas (2006 & 2009). He also serves on the executive committee of the Bahamas branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and as a director of The Bahamas Engineers Architects and Allied Professional (BEAAP).  Mr. McKenzie has quality international and local experience in the civil engineering profession.
