Village Road is an important collector roadway 0.9 miles located in the eastern part of the Island of New Providence, Bahamas, connecting to major arterial roadways Wulff Road, Shirley and East Bay Streets. This roadway is being reconstructed by the Ministry of Works & Utilities, encompassing roundabout and traffic signal-controlled intersections. The design works also included a number of subsurface utilities such as an new 8-inch PVC water main, installation of Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) duct bank, Cable Bahamas Ltd. (CBL) ducts, and utility manholes.
