Project Description:
Construction of Wendy’s Fast Food Restaurant consisting of approximately 1,200 SF, parking and drive thru service located along main corridors with substantial traffic. One restaurant is located in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas whereas the others in New Providence, Bahamas. Project consisted of customer origin destination surveys, average daily traffic (ADT) collected over a 24 hour period for seven (7) days, intersection turning movement counts (TMC) (during the hours of an average day 6:00am – 9:00am, 11:00am– 1:00pm and 3:00pm – 6:00pm), trip generation and parking analysis. Traffic impacts evaluated over a 20 year horizon and recommendations provided to mitigate the Impact.
